Suzanne began playing the trombone in grade 9 and became fully involved with the SWC Music Department under Jim and Lisa Jack, participating in the vocal ensemble, the concert bands and the stage bands. While still in high school, she joined the Thunder Bay Legion and City Band, now the Thunder Bay Community Band. After high school she was able to purchase her first trombone which afforded her the opportunity to continue playing. She has continued playing with the Thunder Bay Community Band, and eventually began sitting in with the Roy Coran Big Band on occasion as a substitute trombone. In 2019, Suzanne became a full-time member of the Roy Coran Big Band and continues pursuing her love of band and trombone music.
