Kevin Holloway, Trombone, began performing in Grimsby with the high school and community band in the early 60’s and continued at Queen’s University performing with the Golden Gaels Marching Brass Band. Other significant musical experiences in high school and university include playing lead guitar in a rock band and performing as a solo vocal/acoustic guitarist in coffee houses.
Since the mid 90’s Kevin has performed in variety of musical groups in the Thunder Bay Area: playing Trombone for the ‘Roy Coran Big Band’; the ‘Thunder Bay Community Band’; the Brass Quintet: ‘Thunder Brass’; playing Trombone and Vocals for Dixieland Group: ‘Good News Jazz Band’; playing Guitar, Vocals and Trombone for the Classic Rock Band ‘Second Time Around’; entertaining as a guitar/vocal performer for variety of Rotary Club Events, and playing Trombone in church Brass Choirs and a Brass Quartet for Lakehead University Convocation. International experience includes playing Trombone in the Southwest Florida Concert Band, the Lehigh Concert Band, FL, and the Bonita Springs Concert Band, Florida (consisting of over 90 musicians with 12 trombones!).
