Ted has been involved for over 40 years in the music scene in Thunder Bay. As a trumpet player he has worked with the Thunder Bay Symphony and Orchestra London. He has played in back-up band for such artists as Englebert Humperdinck, Judy Collins, Dionne Warwick, Hal Linden, Shirley Jones, The Fifth Dimension, and The Temptations. His arrangements have been played by The Thunder Bay Symphony and the Winnipeg Symphony. Ted currently teaches as a contract lecturer at the Lakehead University Music Department and directs the Thunder Bay Community Band as well. Since moving from the trumpet section of the Roy Coran Big Band, to his work as Music Director, the band played to capacity audiences in various venues in Thunder Bay.
